Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris

International Disney

Disneyland Paris Located 19 miles (32km) out of Paris, many of the well known rides from Cali and Florida are included (with a little French flair of course).

Let’s start with ratatouille originally here at DLP (and now newly just opened at Epcot as Remys ratatouille adventure on October 1st) would be my most favorite ride at DLP … but of course There is the “It’s a Small World” ride and the “Pirates of the Caribbean” ride based on the two movies and the most popular show “The Lion King” which always sells out, so you must buy tickets beforehand.

Star tours in Discovery land (Disneyland Paris Version of tomorrow land) is loved by many which can be educational and fun at the same time and the Big Thunder Mountain in Frontierland is always surrounded by visitors.

Star Wars: Hyperspace Mountain (formerly known as Space Mountain: Mission 2 and Space Mountain: De la terre à la lune is amazing there is also The Buzz Light Laser Blast, which is an improvement to the version in Anaheim and plenty of rides, that have also been adapted, improved or added since DLP opened in 1992.

You can dine at the numerous restaurants within the park which provide wonderful meals in true French tradition. In the Steakhouse, the steaks are thick, the wine endless and the service efficient. At Chef Mickey’s children will enjoy the site of Disney characters dancing about along with the buffet meal.

And for the necessary souvenirs and the like, as with all Disney locations, there are exhibits and shops everywhere you look. You can go to the “Val d’Europe” for additional shopping located not very far from the park. It is a mall of full of stores including a grocery store partly owned by Disney called Aucon. In there, you can purchase a variety of foods!

For those with small children, rental strollers and baby changing facilities are readily available or you may go to the Baby Care Center on Main Street USA which has supplies and facilities.

The hours depend on the season, with summer having longer hours!!

To get from Paris, you take the RER Line, A – Marne-la-Vallee/Chessy Station. If you are going straight from Orly or Charles de Gaulle, there is a VEA shuttle service that takes you to the Disneyland Resort Paris hotels. A shuttle comes by every thirty minutes.

My review: Some years ago my bestie and I took a trip to Europe way before the pandemic and being Disney obsessed as I am we had to do Disneyland Paris …it was cute very small from I’m used to (my home away from home is Disney world, so I’m spoiled) however the castle was pretty awesome you actually got to tour it!! There is a cool fire breathing dragon in the dungeon that was pretty cool too!! There was no long lines, so that is a definite plus. We also didn’t have the horrible Florida heat & mosquitoes. They had pin trading and despite what I heard Disneyland Paris was magical & full of nice cast members.  It was not close to the Eiffel Tower we had to take a long train to get there .. Lumere is quite the star at this euro Disneyland he is one of my favorites because Beauty & the beast is one of my all time favorite movies!! My Mickey must do in Disneyland Paris is the castle by far! If you are from Europe and can’t go to Disney world I say go to Disneyland Paris tour the castle eat amazing pastries and enjoy it, but Disney world is still my very favorite
