so we got reservations DVC points to stay at animal kingdom lodge in august and then scored reservations to sanaa.  It’s down stairs from the lobby and we had a little wait even with reservations.  First off the seating make sure to ask to sit by a window

We tried Sanaa at Disneys animal kingdom lodge and we loved it!

so we got reservations using DVC points to stay at animal kingdom lodge in august and then scored reservations to sanaa.  It’s down stairs from the lobby and we had a little wait even with reservations.  First off the seating make sure to ask to sit by a window because the view of the Savanna while you eat is amazing! Also if you are lucky an animal will come up to the window while you are eating! If that isn’t amazing enough then comes the food… so the new menus are on your phone you scan the code and the menu comes up… this authentic African food was to die for so many flavors and mouth watering (also I should note they are amazing with food allergies they worked with me to get my son a perfect meal) on that note he had the grilled chicken We however had the butter chicken with rice and veggies and let me tell you it was like nothing I have ever tasted it’s a must do must try if you ever stay at this resort! Also a little hint if you don’t have time for a sit down or can’t get a reservation you can order it to go!  We also enjoyed the quick service by the pool they had amazing pulled pork sandwiches that are mouth watering good!!
